🧼 Caring for Your Mizupak Backpack

Daily Care

• Wipe the exterior and interior with a soft, damp cloth after use

• Allow the pack to air dry fully before storing

• Avoid leaving liquids inside for extended periods

Cleaning the Exterior

• Use mild soap and warm water

• Gently wipe — do not scrub the water-resistant coating

• Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners

Cleaning the Interior

• Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap

• Do not machine wash or submerge the bag, as this can damage insulation and structure

Hardware & Zippers

• Keep zippers clean and free from debris

• If stiffness occurs, apply a tiny amount of zipper lubricant or rub with a graphite pencil

• Always ensure the anti-theft zippers are fully dry before locking or storing

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Avoid storing while damp

• Keep away from extreme heat or direct sun for long periods to preserve color and materials

💧 Caring for Your Hydration Bladder

Before First Use

1. Rinse with warm water and mild soap

2. Fill halfway with water + 1 tsp lemon juice or baking soda

3. Let sit for 30 minutes, rinse well, and air dry

After Each Use

• Empty completely

• Rinse with warm water

• Air dry open and hanging

• Keep the cap, hose, and valve detached while drying to avoid trapped moisture

Deep Cleaning (Every Few Uses)

Try one of the following safe cleaning options:

Option A: Warm water + a few drops of mild dish soap
Option B: Warm water + 1 tsp baking soda
Option C: Warm water + 1 tsp white vinegar

Shake, let sit for 15 minutes, rinse, and air dry.

Avoid

• Bleach or strong chemicals

• Hot boiling water

• Dishwashers

• Storing the bladder while wet

❄️ Keeping Everything Fresh & Odor-Free

• Always allow full air drying before closing or storing

• Store the hydration bladder in the freezer between uses to prevent odor build-up

• If you notice lingering smell:

  • Mix warm water + lemon juice

  • Let sit for 20–30 minutes

  • Rinse thoroughly
